Well not quite, but It could explode any moment...

Before I begin a little back-story... I play a game called EVE Online, some/most of you will know about it, or even play it, but that's not the point. EVE has a Testing server called singularity, or Sisi for short. The servers basically a place to test new patches when the insightful people at CCP (The Devs) decide to whack with the Nerf bat (read Cannon)anyway, back to the matter at hand

....Here goes the story.

So, I've been up all night watching episodes of various animé (Death Note/FMA/Champloo) on this computer, everything is fine. Now 30 minutes or so ago I decide to go on sisi and have a bit of fun. I start up Sisi and then decide to go and check the washing/drying downstairs, and by time I come back the computers looking all odd... Resolution is set to 800x600 and there is small red dots being displayed going vertically down the screen, repeating all the way across.

Now, I just figured since I had it on all night that it might be a tad too hot, so I turn it off, unplug everything and check to see how everything is, it didn't feel any hotter than normal, but I left the case open and went for a shower to let it cool down somewhat.

So now I've gotten out the shower, I've checked all the cables and shit inside the case, screwed it back up and plugged it back in...No luck, everything is still the same. Thinking it could be the drivers being corrupted I've uninstalled them and I'm now on the default windows drivers and I've changed the resolution to 1680x1050, and all the red dots did was change resolution too....

Upon restarting I notice that the Boot screen also has the vertical dotted lines too, so it’s defiantly the hardware not the software? Also, since taking a screenshot doesn’t show the dots, I took two pictures with my phone instead:

Note: Everything seems to work fine. Not tried playing a game yet though, I don’t want to turn my computer into soup just yet...
